Pizza

Giro's Pizza

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy Pizza and that's kinda the same thing.

Giro's Pizza Restaurant caters Authentic Italian Pizza, Lasagnas, Sandwiches and Salads. Dine in or Take away. They are located on Ramsaran Street, Chaguanas.

This restaurant is simple and relaxing. I would give them a high rating, the pizza was excellent in comparison to similar restaurants in Trinidad. The Customer Service is outstanding. I would definitely be visiting again and will highly recommend it to anyone who ask.

Restaurant set up

They offer a variety of Pizzas Vegetarian, Seafood and Meat, Salads, Lasagna and sandwiches for lunch. Every pizza can be made into a Calzone or made with whole wheat flour.

Menu

Friendly and courteous staff will ensure that you have a great experience. We ordered a salad to start. Like authentic Italian it was delicious in its simplicity. The Pizza was hot, crisp and delicious, we could not wait to take the picture. Desserts are made fresh and in-house. We ordered our desserts to go, both were delicious.

Giro's Pizza is a must go for affordable Authentic Italian food located in Chaguanas. Finally somewhere outside of Port of Spain that does excellent Food and friendly staff.

Laser Tag

Fun Station - Laser tag

Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.

Part of life is learning to take a break and have fun. We adventured to Fun Station in La Romain.

If you are looking for somewhere to play games or do something different, they offer bumper cars, laser tag and mini bowling.

Fun Station Entrance

The Laser tag was an extremely entertaining game, it may seem to be a very short game because of the amount of fun you will have. The game last 10 minutes and a 5 minute briefing of rules and equipment briefing.

It is the first and only place in Trinidad that is currently doing laser tag. The experience was exciting. If you are looking for something to do during the July August holidays with your kids or it is just adults wanting to try something different I will recommend trying it.

I would suggest having food elsewhere. The small cafe in the establishment takes long to prepare food and may also over fry your food. Their menu is misleading with their burger combos being burgers only. Be aware!
The cafe is best for drinks, snacks such as cotton candy, popcorn and ice cream.

They do offer many party packages. Generally the experience was a good experience filled with lots of laughter and smiles. The food aside it was a great experience.

Food Trucks - Kafta Grill

Food Trucks may not be considered a new thing to Trinidadians, as food has been accessible via food trucks years ago from Roti to Chinese in Port of Spain and San Fernando.

The need for quick and affordable food has created many food trucks businesses not only in the cities but through out the country, especially at night on the weekends.

Kafta Grill outside Valpark, has gained a considerable customer base, with easy access off the highway whether you are heading into Port of Spain or to the East. They open at 7 pm. My advice on a busy Friday night call ahead and order your food, unless you are just enjoying your lime while you wait to place and collect your order. The wait is worth it.

The food is delicious and affordable.

Trini Foodie Adventure follows food if it is restaurants, or trying local or international recipes. Giving you the experience first hand. Please enjoy the experiences shared.

Tucked into the small veranda of a house, La Tartaruga is located in Buccoo Village Tobago. The experience has been one of the best for authentic Italian Food. Reservations are a must as many people return every time they are in Tobago.

Chef Gabriele De Gaetano and his staff treats everyone as equals, they are amazing and caring making the quality of service above most restaurants.

The menu folders were created by different persons drawings on the front and back folder cover from the Trinidad and Tobago Tourism Board.

The Menu at La Tortaruga

On ordering Appetizers, the waiter brought several small plates for a trial of different appetizers which had it's origins from various regions of Italy which the Chef and his family visited. Chef Gabriele comes to your table describes how each dish is prepared and explains the order in which to eat it. He personalizes the experience for each person that comes to his restaurant.
